Of the many guests that travelled to Kuramathi, there is one face they are quite familiar with before they depart back home and that is Shibu; our Guest Services buggy driver. Having worked in Kuramathi for over 15 years and originally from Kerala, India, Shibu has chauffeured plenty of guests and made friends within the process. He first joined Kuramathi in 1999, starting off as a van driver. 4 years later he switched to bus/buggy driver and has since been working in the Guest Services then. Kuramathi is the first place he has worked abroad and he’s happy to live in the Maldives. When asked what message he wishes to relay to guests he beams up and says this is the perfect place to unwind and relax. During his free time he enjoys watching Bollywood movies and relaxing.
